As Easy as ABC: An Organized Life Equals an Easy Life

Most of us live in a very busy life with loads of work in our hands. Nonstop deadlines here and there, incoming projects for the next quarter, and of course the demand of having quality time with your loved ones. So little time yet so many obligations and responsibilities to finish.

So, if you ever feel like your life is chaotic and disordered, Here’s some essential tips on how to organize and restart your life:

A - Analyze and Write Things Down

Notice why our teachers or professors encourage us to write some notes down during class? That's because they know, and obviously we all know, that we can’t trust our own memories when remembering things that can be useful in the future. Trying to remember things will not help you to stay organized. Thus analyzing our thoughts and writing them down on a piece of paper is permanent. The things we need to do or our ideas become tangible and clear. Much clearer than it could ever be in our heads.

B - Begin Decluttering

Seeing piles of dishes, unfolded clothes, unnecessary trash, or scattered objects around the house or our workplace can make our mind stressful and tense. Moreover, living a cleaner and more organized life can free your mind from negative thoughts. Once you clean out your environment, you’ll start breathing easier and feeling better physically.

C - Create a Schedule Calendar

Have you experienced forgetting something important, like project presentation, birthdays, doctor’s appointment, or meetings? Or just imagine if your partner forgot your anniversary, how would you feel? Disappointed, Yes. That’s why having a schedule calendar is important. It guides you in determining your priorities so that you can spend the right time on the right tasks, reminds you the deadlines or even some personal events in your life. It prevents your work from piling up and overwhelming you on the forthcoming days.

Life isn’t perfect. We all have our good days and bad days. Sometimes you’re determined to get things done and sometimes you just want to lay in bed and rest, and that’s okay. Every situation is unique and what we can only control are our actions and our outlook in life. All you have to do is to take a moment and reflect on your life. Do what makes you happy. Be You. Your Ideas are great. You are Great.
